*Dr. Jensen regularly treats patients with pain syndromes. Many pain conditions respond to psychotropic medication. Dr. Jensen does not prescribe opiates or Suboxone (buprenorphine and naloxone). Opiate dependent pain-patients should be treated in specialized pain management clinics, for safety. Severely addicted patients should be treated in a hospital setting, or drug and alcohol rehabilitation facility, for safety. This clinic is outpatient, not hospital-based. If hospitalization is indicated, Dr. Jensen can communicate with the receiving hospital-based psychiatrist to facilitate continuity of care.
